About No Reason

I know what you’re thinking. This website feels different, doesn’t it?

A little smoother, a little sexier than most websites you’ve visited.

It’s OK, go ahead. Touch it. It’s all right to be a bit curious.

You feel it? That tingle in the back of your brain? The warm feeling spreading over your Nonsense Glands? The soft scent of melted cheese in the air…

Don’t worry, these feelings are perfectly natural (except the melted cheese part. That might be your lunch).

You’ve taken the first step, and I assure you, it’s the first step to a bigger world. A better world. A world, without Reason. It is, in fact, the world of No Reason.

No Reason is best defined as the look you give someone right after they have said something particularly stupid. Unlike most webcomics, we don’t play video games, whine about pop culture, or use this strip as a personal soapbox.

Twice a week, Murph and Jamie introduce you to the most random acts of life, from strange conversations with store clerks, to The Worst Day Ever, No Reason brings you deep into the twisted heart of idiocy, and never looks back.

Along for the ride is a cast of characters that would simultaneously all get voted off were they to ever enter a network reality show. From the uncomfortably hot sister, to the Prophet with a nasty habit of cursing folk, the world of No Reason is populated by a troupe unlike any other.

Still not entirely sure what you have gotten into? Well, perhaps answering some of our FAQ will clear the air:

Q: Why did _________ Happen?
A: No Reason.

Q: Where is ________ ?
A: No Reason.

Q: What about ________ ?
A: No Reason.

Q: Is _________ even physically, or psychologically possible?
A: No Reason.

Q: What’s this thing growing on my _________?
A: No Reason.

That’s right, we are so awesome, we’re infectious!

So read on, Dear Hearts, but be warned…

(oh, and some penicillin will clear that right up).

About Jeff Moss

While most kids spend their days dreaming of being firemen or astronauts, Jeff Moss was firmly holed up in his room with a stack of comic books, shying away from natural light. Jeff co-founded No Reason Comics with Dan Simon in 2006 as a way to get all the comic book groupies. Crushed when he found out they didn’t exist, Jeff turned his attention to his second love, radio. Along with Donnie Coulter, he started The Watchtower Podcast in 2007. In a vain attempt to replace people with things, Jeff lives in Toronto, Canada with his Transformers and spends his free time wondering what to do with his free time.

About Dan Simon

Dan’s love of comics started at an early age, when he would rush downstairs on Sunday mornings to check out the newest adventures of Calvin and Hobbes. Since he was a horribly awkward child, he often fell down said stairs leading to his parents locking him in his room for his own safety with a stack of Superhero books. He began tracing the heroic forms before him, and soon his talent for comics blossomed. Dan co-founded No Reason Comics with Jeff Moss in 2006 because the booze got the better of him. Once he sobered up, he found that he actually liked the idea, and the project was off the ground. Dan spends most of his time attempting to re-animate the dead, but when he isn’t dabbling in God’s Domain, he likes to read and write Heroes Fanfic.
