Jamie Goldbergstienowitz

A self-professed “Superbowl Jew,” Jamie’s day job is piloting a Blimp. After hours, he likes to draw and sample fine (and not so fine) cheeses. He spends most of his free time tinkering with technology and is still very, very angry that the jetpacks science fiction promised him have yet to arrive.

Murphy O’Murphy

Murph is a riddle wrapped in an enigma and deep-fried in petulance. The oldest of the O’Murphy Clan, Murph’s days are filled reading comics, assembling a vast army of toys and filing frivolous lawsuits. His hobbies include a never-ending search for the perfect pizza and sending @Replies to people he doesn’t know on Twitter.

  • Dizzle

The man they call Dizzle was blessed with a superpower that allows him to disagree with virtually anything. His stories are legendary to those who can follow them, and he has a custom-made Green Lantern ring that has yet to grant him access to Oa.

  • The Storyteller

The Storyteller has known our Jamie & Murph for a long time, and is able to tell tales of such an incredible nature that he’s been known to captivate entire countries. His stories are as amazing as his shorts, and he is our guide through the nonsensical world of No Reason.

  • The Prophet

The Prophet might just be magic. The details of his origin remain unknown, but at some point he acquired a direct line to God. The Prophet looks out for Murph & Jamie whenever he can, but given the sheer amount of trouble they get into, it’s not always physically or psychologically possible.

  • The Idea Men

If you only see one of The Idea Men rest assured the other is going through your stuff, wearing your clothes and probably dating your girlfriend. Ever the devils on Murph and Jamie’s shoulders, they long ago punched out the angels on the opposite side. They have an idea for everything, and for them, every idea is a deliciously evil winner.

  • Pat

Pat is Jamie’s middle brother. Often the voice of reason (or at the very least, sanity) Pat has been known to “poke the sleeping bear” when it comes to his brothers, often pitting them against each other in physical combat.

  • Clark

Jamie’s youngest brother’s sole reason for existing is to get the drop on his oldest sibling. Physically, mentally or through some kind of drinking competition, Clark needs to win. He also is an excellent migrant worker.

  • Murphafina

Known simply as “Fina” to her friends, this gal is hot. She has also been the subject of Jamie’s crushes, in spite of Murph’s objections. The lone sane member of the family, Fina views her brothers as no danger to themselves or others, knowing they’re “Mostly Harmless.”

  • Murphington

The youngest of the O’Murphy siblings, Murphington sees the world through the lip of his helmet. He’s the best he is at what he does, and what he does isn’t very coherent. His military skills are unprecedented, and will one day allow him to successfully annex the neighbour’s pool.

  • Maureen

When Jamie remembers he has a Girlfriend, Maureen is it. She’s extremely dedicated to Jamie, and is a kind, sweet, and clinically insane person. Especially when Fina’s around.

  • Norman

Two words can describe Murph’s arch-nemesis: SO EMO. Norman has never really had a thought that wasn’t expressed in poetry, and all the bands you like he liked way before they were “Cool.”

  • Radar

Radar is Jamie’s bear. He scares away bees, but aside from that doesn’t say much. He’s a good bear.
