I wish I could say the time spent since last we spoke has been full of wonder and excitement. That many interesting, humorous and exciting events had occurred and we’d all learned a valuable lesson about friendship.
I wish I could say all that, but the reality is that much like my cohort, work seems to be the business of the day (and night) and the time in question has been spent lifting, assembling, painting, cleaning and coaxing our new store into existence. With the possible acception of my declaration of war upon the grocery store next door, not a whole lot of that is terribly interesting.
I can say thought that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Yes, if all goes according to plan the doors of The 4th Wall East will be open for business this week. And darned if it hasn’t been worth it.
So, with all that on the plate I can assure you I’ll have more interesting things to talk about soon. Until then though, I watched “Bad Teacher.” It was really funny. I don’t know why more people didn’t dig it, I thought it was hilarious. I want Jason Segal to be my bro. But his involvement with the Muppets sealed that deal a long time ago.
An now, to sleep!
