So, just so you don’t forget, there’s an anniversary coming up. A pretty big one for us. Yup. That’s right. No Reason is gettin’ old enough that its starting to count milestones, and we’re closing in on number five!
WHAAAAAAT?!
Back in September 2006, Jeff Moss and I put together our first strips and posted them up online. Back then, we thought we were hilarious, and could draw well. We still think that. And now we’d like to give you the readers, perhaps other creators, a chance to do something like that as well. Maybe you’ve had your own strip in mind for No Reason. Maybe there are words you want to make come out of Murph’s mouth, or a pair of pants you’d rather see Jamie wear. Or maybe you have your own comic and you’d like to do a strip or two where your characters meet ours. Maybe. Maybe. Maybe. Maybe… and the word has lost all meaning. Maybe.
Either way, starting this September 2011, our 5th Anniversary, we’ll be accepting Fan-Made Strips from the community. Those that are a cut above might be featured here in the main page of No Reason’s anniversary celebrations – but everyone will be included in a gallery with timed releases so that the spotlight can shine down not only on Jamie and Murph, but all you wonderful people that bring them to life every week.
