This past weekend was something of an interesting affair. I had a great time hanging out and talking comics with Fred Van Lente and his delightful wife, Crystal at the shop on Saturday. Sunday was the second in a row that I’ve had to work, covering for the vacationing Sarah. It was a busy day, but not so much that I wasn’t able to get caught up on some of my reading, which was nice.

As I sit here writing this though, I’ve come to realize that this weekend produced more questions than it did answers. Questions like:

- Why haven’t I seen Scott Pilgrim yet?
- When did it become acceptable to wear bathing suits as shorts?
- Have you voted for The Questy Awards yet?
- When am I going to have time to watch the Kick-Ass, Losers and Rambo Blu-Rays I bought last week?
- What’s He Building In There?
- Why do I care who’s going to play Nightcrawler’s Dad in X-Men: First Class?
- Why am I not seeing Scott Pilgrim right now?

Also this weekend, for the first time in my life, I ate pizza with a knife and fork. This was not by choice, mind you. The pie in question was ordered from a local Mom & Pop pizza place, and it was incredible. The sheer amount of toppings on this particular pizza made it too heavy for me to lift to my mouth. It truly was an awe-inspiring piece of business. It was not a deep-dish for those of you thinking I’ve succumbed to the Chicago style. It was just so laden with meat, it became too awkward to maneuver without assistance of the utensil variety.

Yep, that’s the most exciting part of my weekend. Also, I really need to see Scott Pilgrim.
