So for the last couple months I’ve had the pleasure of having my good friend @rzebram staying with me in my humble abode. As a brunch companion, pizza-night conspirator and Futurama giggler-atter, you can ask for no one better. It’s great having him around (he does dishes), especially since he was gone almost every weekend at one convention or another.
That said, it’s kind of a bittersweet day as he leaves for an almost month-long trip around Europe.
Yeah, the kid’s got it rough: All summer cruising conventions in the US, and now Europe. But I’m not jealous. No, not at all.
Any way, it’s been fun having him around and I look forward to hearing about his adventures upon his return. I’m hoping that he’s able to bring me back something cool from each place he visits. Or I may not let him into the house.
Aside from that, it’s going to be a pretty cool weekend here. Friend and noted comics writer Fred Van Lente will be visiting us at The 4th Wall. There’s an anime convention in town as well, featuring none other than @lartist as it’s guest of honour! I’m telling you, Montreal is the place to be this weekend.
