Combining our love of Ghostbusters with our love of gigantic, man-eating breasts? Impossible, you say? Think again, I say. Think again.
In other movie news, the first trailer for Seth Rogen’s Green Hornet has hit the net:
Now, having seen that I must say I’m a huge fan of Seth Rogen, and I’m a huge fan of The Green Hornet. Together? I don’t know if I’m buying it.
I’ve always been a huge fan of the Green Hornet radio plays, and I really like what Kevin Smith is doing with the character in his screenplay-turned-comic from Dynamite. The Green Hornet needs to have a certain grit and pulpish-ness to him or else he comes off looking like and idiot with a cool car and a cooler sidekick. I don’t know if marrying the action and comedy like they’re trying to do here will succeed.
That said, this trailer might be cut the way it is to a) appeal to Rogen’s regular fans of his work in Pineapple Express and movies like that, and b) see if the balance of comedy and action will be well received. The movie’s not coming out until January after all, so there’s plenty of time for tweaking.
For instance, how to work in gigantic, man-eating boobs.
