Before we even start, I will admit: Yes, I have watched Batman: A XXX Parody, and no it’s not for the reasons you think. We interviewed the director, Axel Braun on The Watchtower, so I needed to know what we were dealing with.
What? Yes, I’m aware that only Donnie was on that interview. I still needed to watch it for, y’know, journalistic purposes.
What’s that? I’m not a journalist? OK, I know… but… LEXI BELLE AS BATGIRL! How’m I not going to check that out?
And you know what? It got weird.
I wasn’t able to get the DVD version of the movie, and had to settle for a digital copy the studio sent over, but I’m told that the DVD version includes a bonus “No Sex” cut of the movie. It’s the entire story, but will all the actual intercourse cut out. Apparently this takes the flick down from 120min to 30 min, and honestly I think that’s the version I would prefer.
At first the idea seems great, Batman = Awesome, Porn = Great, Batman + Porn = Greatly Awesome. But then you get into it, and it’s so well done that you find yourself way more interested in the story. Once you remove the sex, it really is the best homage to the 1960’s Batman TV show I’ve ever seen.
Plus, watching The Joker in a three-way is just about the creepiest thing I’ve ever seen. It will haunt my dreams.
All that said though, still a better Batman movie than Batman & Robin.
OK, I have to go now. @Rezebram and @Lartist have discovered an iPad racing game, that allows you to use your iPhone to steer. If I could get this Macbook to make me sandwiches, I don’t think I’d ever need to leave the house.
