…and I’d say we all owe him a great deal of Thanks. Although it does strike me as odd that so many women wear the tube top. Especially when you factor in the fact that they spent most of the time pulling the top up. I’m not complaining mind you, but it should be noted.
So whoever had June 6th in the pool, some folks owe you some money. That’s right, I caved in (under so much pressure of course) and have acquired an iPad. It really was just a matter of time, and I have to say I’m really not disappointed.
The ability to transfer files in and out of this device is one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced in gadgetry. Factor in the games, video playback, and of course the comics apps and you’ve got one hell of a toy. And that’s what it is in all honesty, a toy. It’s in no way essential for anyone, but i can see how it will make life easier, especially for those who travel a lot.
Did i mention I’ve written this post on it? The smaller keyboard has taken a little getting used to, but the autocorrect that it borrows from the iPhone is a dream to someone who is spellingly-challenged like myself.
The most fun I’ve had with it thus far though? Beating McCahan at air hockey. No matter the simplicity of the game, it’s nice to beat a certified genius at a video game. Next up: Angry Birds HD.
