A while back, I took a lovely young intern under my wing and offered to teach her the ways of radio, media and the world as I see it. She was an excellent student, sopping up every assignment and task that I threw at her with a vigor and excitement that actually made me remember why I loved what I was doing at the time in the first place.
Through the months, we bonded as friends, and Eva ascended to being more than an intern. She became my young apprentice. Her talent and personality are far greater than mine, and though I’ve moved on from that job, she is still in school preparing to change the face of media as we know it.
But that is far from her only talent.
She is also a gifted artist, and she has chosen an incredible unique and interesting way to express her art: Cupcakes. Her website for custom cupcakes www.tattycakes.com launches today, and I wholeheartedly suggest you check it out. Some of the things this girl can create with fondant and icing are absolutely incredible.
For my birthday a couple years ago, Eva made me a 7-layer cupcake that was about a foot tall, and 8 inches wide. It took me 2 weeks to eat it. Seriously. So, I can say without a doubt that her work is not only really pretty to look at, it’s also delicious. How many things in life can you say that about?
So if you’re looking for a delicious and unique dessert or appetizer for your function or event, Tattycakes.com is where you need to be.
See? Not all my promotion is SELF-promotion. Shameless, yes, but not Self-promotion.
