Something has happened.

Something that is bringing great joy to some, while terror and sorrow to others.

Something that has changed the way life is, perhaps irrevocably.

Yes, that’s right. I have laryngitis and have lost my voice. I can’t talk.

This will be my only communication with the outside world, you people the only ones who will be able to receive and carry my message. Messages of great hope, great peace, and great sandwiches. But remember, with great sandwiches comes great coleslaw.

In other news, there is a great show on the Discovery Channel: Destroyed In Seconds. 30 solid minutes of things getting wrecked, either by natural disaster or human error. I find this kind of thing fascinating, because in almost all the scenarios, I find myself thinking one thing: Why is this person taping this? I mean, I’ve taped some strange things (including two girls reciting Shakespeare while sucking back helium) but if my life was in danger and stuff was blowing up, I gotta think I’d drop the camera.

OK, I’m not making sense and I have nothing more to say, so I am going to leave you with an amusing picture, that accurately represents how I feel right now.
