I like it when things go boomy-boom and we haven’t blown anything up in a while now.
Michael Bay eat your heart out.
Well friends, when last we spoke, I was holed up in the lovely town of Edmonton. By the time your read this, I should (barring unforseen circumstances) be in Montreal, having slept in my first real bed in days, and extra anxious to report that The 4th Wall will be open for business today.
Sohmer did a “soft open” on the weekend to give everything a trial run and make sure everything works, and a “Grand Opening” celebration is being planned as we speak!
I am very excited to finally get this thing off the ground and working. It’s been a long process, and Sohmer, Becker, Phil and myself have been working our asses off to get it ready.
Well, OK, Sohmer, Becker, and Phil have been working their asses off to get it ready. I’ve been riding the rails and jockeying airlines. But as I arrive in Montreal this time, it will be for a prolonged period of time. The first time in almost a month that I’ve spent more than 5 days in a given location.
This is pretty awesome for the following reasons:
No more airports.
No more public washrooms.
My days of living out of a suitcase are numbered.
And finally, now the real work can begin.
I’m super excited to get The 4th Wall open, and I hope that if you’re in the Montreal area, you stop by and say hello. You can find us at 940 St Jean in Pointe-Claire. It’s right off of the 40, so there’s no reason not to come by.
You’ll see me. I’ll be the exhausted and shaggy guy behind the counter with the huge grin on his face.
