Gosh, sometimes when it rains, it pours doesn’t it? I don’t really have much else to say about this one. The allure of such an event is something that is deep-seeded in the male psyche. If you know what I mean, then there’s no need to elaborate. If you don’t, then do some internet research. I’m sure many examples won’t be hard to find.

OK, I have a small request to make of all the artists out there. See, over the last year or so, at the various conventions and meets I’ve been to I’ve accumulated a decent amount of prints and original artwork. I’ve wanted for a long time now to put them in frames and get them up on the walls. The problem is that they are all odd sizes.

Having the pieces custom-framed would cost an arm and a leg, and even IKEA, whose frame sizes make as much sense as an Escher drawing, seemed to be lacking in the proper sized frames for some of the cooler pieces in my collection.

Happily, I can report that I managed to track down enough frames over the course of the weekend, and everything is now securely waiting to be hung on a wall. But I do want to implore the artists out there. If you do a print, please, unless absolutely necessary, make it a normal size! It costs way too much to have things custom framed, so help a brother out!

All right, if none of that made sense, it’s probably due to my searing headache. Next time I will be more lucid.
