Hey, so TCAF (that’s Toronto Comic Arts Festival to those not in the know) was this past weekend here in the great center of the universe that is Toronto. It’s seriously becoming one of my favourite shows. It’s almost entirely indie and webcomics, it’s in the Toronto Reference Library, and it’s free to the public! I found some really great art, met a few new and old friends, and picked up some books that I am dying to read. Once I get done with them, I will for sure let you guys know what’s good over at The Watchtower site.

Speaking of which, this week’s episode of The Watchtower is going to be pretty awesome. A couple of very cool secrety-type things are on this week’s show. We’re going to be getting to the heart of it all, to the naked truth if you will. I won’t say anymore. Just be sure to tune into The Watchtower this week, the newest episode will be up Wednesday morning.

The other cool thing about TCAF that I wanted to mention is that I finally bought a sketchbook. Now those of you who have seen my pitiful attempts to draw may be a little worried at this notion, but fear not. It isn’t for me to draw in, it’s for me to take to conventions and gatherings like TCAF and get people that I admire to sketch in. It’s like my own coffee table book of all original, one of a kind art. I’ve wanted to get one of these going for a while now, but as with most things, I was a bit slow starting it up. As the book gets filled up though, I’ll be sure and scan in some of the best ones to share with y’all.
