Tinker Tinker Tinker!

Woooo, I’ve been posting a lot lately. But there’s doings afoot, as my collaborative cohort would say. So, I’m telling you all about ‘em.

So, I’ve been hard at work, making sure the new site is running well, and some colleagues and new readers have been kind enough to point out some things to help me get it all back in order. So I’ve spent this evening going back over old strips and tinkering with the design to get some things back into place.

Awhile back I managed to eff up our database, and basically erased two years of work. However, not all was lost – but a few things got bunged up in the recovery. A number of strips went missing, and a few got mis-dated. So here are the strips I’ve fixed:

And these one’s got sent to the draft folder and I haven’t gotten around to fixing them in a LONG time:

My apologies for all of the emails going out for updates – I promise this kind of spamming is a one time only deal, and shan’t happen again.

And with the help of the eminent Tyler Martin, I’ve fixed up some of the IE display errors happening. IE is one of the major reasons I don’t want to do webdesign professionally, and it is constantly the bane of my existence. So, for those of you that have been using it, please forgive me if the site doesn’t look right in your browser at times – I’m on a mac, and I don’t have an efficient preview system *yet* for it. If you forgive me for that, I’ll forgive you for using an inferior web browser. Ha ha…errr.

Anyways, the feedback has been really positive so far, and I’m really happy with the overall look. I’m happy to welcome the spike of new readers pouring in from our LICD cameo, and hope you enjoy our now complete archives. There’s some other projects on the go, that I don’t feel at liberty to talk about right now, but we’re all hoping for some good things!

A special thanks to ‘Snowbear’ for sending me a list of our messed up strips! Every little bit is appreciated!

For those of you who were getting: Operation Aborted messages:

It’s a conflict with Lightbox and IE7. We’ve disabled Lightbox for now.
