Hey! So what do you think of the new site? Pretty cool, huh?!? Jamie has been working his arse of to get it up and running, and I think it looks really cool. It’s totally unique and unlike any other comic site out there. So be sure and tell all your friends and leave nice (and possibly sexy) comments about his hard work!
While he was doing that though, I wasn’t just sitting around twiddling my thumbs like I usually do. No sir, I was off on the adventure of a lifetime at the first ever New England Webcomics Weekend.
First of all, I must say that the town of Northampton, MA, is so storybook-gorgeous that it’s impossible not to fall in love with the place. It was absolutely movie-perfect picturesque, and had one of the coolest bars I’ve ever been in, The Tunnel Bar.

But of course it wasn’t all bars, and fly-fishing at the break of dawn on the river. There was also the Webcomics Weekend, and the masses that came for it. I think the farthest I heard of was the woman who came from Sweden. I’d say the trip was worth it.
It was a smaller show in terms of the size of the Eastworks building, but the place was jammed from start to finish both days. It was cool to have so many of the best and brightest in webcomics in such an intimate space, and it was a real treat for the fans (myself included) to be able to talk with so many of their favourite creators.

He shows us the way.
At night, there were numerous pub crawls and parties, but the winner was obviously the LICD Meet at The Tunnel Bar. If you were there, you know why. The fans we met and hung out with were totally cool, and I know that I’ve walked away with more than a few great new friends.
There was even a No Reason reader there! Say hello to Katherine everyone! She did a 28-hour round trip from Nova Scotia to be at Webcomics Weekend.

All in all, it was a great trip, with the greatest of people. I can’t thank Lar, Sohmer and Becker enough for being such awesome dudes. I’d tell you more stories, and show you more pictures, but I’ll be honest. I’ve been home for more than 24 hours, but I’m still exhausted. You can find some more of my pictures here, and be sure to add us on Facebook. For now though, believe me when I say, from the bottom of my heart:
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz….

God! This site is so beautiful. It’s sexy and it really turns me on. If I were a woman I would bed you.
Thanks Sqeasel! I’m still working through it, tackling it element by element, page by page.
The name of the game is now ‘reader interaction’ – because frankly, in my humble opinion, that’s 90% of the reason for the setup of this webcomic.
We love you guys, and want to hear more from you, so the more room we can give you here, the better.
Let me just say I am so happy to see my picture on the site! And I have the comicbook to prove I met Moss!
I like the new site as well…although I liked the dark background of the old.
Thanks peanut! It’s coming along. I’ll be tackling it again later this week. My ‘real’ job has been keeping me a little too busy of late!
