Pulp Free (We Hope)
By Jeff Moss & Dan Simon

It’s actually a pretty amazing scent. Our apartment doesn’t smell like dudes for the first time in years. I am also pretty sure he can ward off colds, but I’m not willing to test that theory. Lord knows how I’d be expected to ingest that vitamin C…

What follows is a true tale of my extreme dumbness.

So I took my car out to my mechanic’s last night so that they could fix the grinding thingy (that’s the technical term) that was happening every time I stepped on the brakes. It had been happening for about 3 months so I figured it was time.

My Mechanic happens to be two towns over from the hallowed burg of Toronto where Jamie and I live. Jamie followed me out to the shop, braving the weather and extreme loginess.

We got all the way out there; I parked the car, grabbed my stuff, locked it up, and put the key through the door slot. The second those keys had left my fingertips; I realized that I had left my phone clipped to the visor in the front seat of my car.

Of course, I had my spare key for just such an occasion. It was stored safely in my dresser. At home. In Toronto. Two towns over.

So we drove all the way back out to the apartment, then I drove all the way back to get my phone (again, because I’m dumb). It was a lovely night to, the sleet really left a nice sheen on everything.

The moral of the story: Don’t be dumb.

Its good advice… one day, I might even take it.

If it was in the afternoon, I probably looked like a drunk four year old. I was barely awake… I’d been up all night. If it was in the morning…*shrug* Dude… if you see me, say hi! I don’t eat people. :D

Surprisingly, parts of my apartment still have the fresh paint smell, even after 5 years of strange cooking ventures.
