See how we inverted that title, so’s not to get sued? Innovative, we are.

Did you guys know that January is almost over? I was shocked to hear this news. Where the hell did it go? I had stuff I wanted to do! Places to be!! Goals to accomplish!!! Well, that’s not entirely true, but you get the idea. This month has flown by and I guess that’s a good thing, because it means that things have been busy, and busy is usually good. Usually.

So every now and again, Dizzle and I get the chance to interview some pretty cool people for The Watchtower Podcast. Last night we did an interview that will be part of next week’s show that was probably the most fun interview we’ve done to date. It was with Toronto-based singer/songwriter Lights.

Now, she may not seem like the most obvious choice for an interview on a comic book Podcast, but this girl is actually a huge comic fan! She was pulling out references and books that left even Dizzle and I scratching our heads. She’s got a totally rad collection of old-school sci-fi comics, and they play a big part in her videos. All this, and she was totally upbeat, high energy, and jut a ton of fun to talk to. It’s going to be the leadoff interview in this week’s show that will be posted Wednesday morning. Our other guest will be… Well, maybe I’ll hang on to that one.

I’ve heard there’s a little football game being played this weekend. The Super-something? What is it? Oh, yes, Bowl, the Superbowl. I wish that I had the stake in this year’s game like I did last year, but then again we all remember how that turned out. As such, this year I can sit and happily watch the game as a neutral observer. Although, I think my heart is going to be with Arizona. There’s something sneaky about those Steeltown guys…
