This is a pretty accurate portrayal of what every conversation with me has been over the last week or so. It used to be that you could only really listen to records in your home or car, but now in the days of the iPod, it can go anywhere. Thus, I’m listening to DEATH MAGNETIC pretty much anytime, anywhere.
I was home on my own this weekend, so instead of doing productive stuff, I cleaned. Some of you might look at that as productive, but in truth it’s really only something that I do when it’s time to avoid doing real work.
The place looks great though, of I do say so myself (I ever snared a housefly out of mid-air with the vacuum, it was awesome) and when I cleaned off my desk I found a few extra copies of our very first No Reason publication. It was the small, black and white book we put out in 2007, and haven’t printed again. So the question arises: what to do with these literary treasures? Wallpaper? Birdcage Liners? Napkins? I can’t figure it out.
So, as always whenever I have a personal or professional question, I called Lar. He wasn’t home. Instead, I turn to you fine folks. What should we do with these? I’m thinking some kind of contest, but let me know what you think, and we’ll see if something can’t be done.
So have you guys updated to the newest version of iTunes? What the hell is a Genius Bar? And why is it picking playlists for me? One of the best things about digital music is programming my own playlists, and I gotta say Genius Bar, I’m better at it than you.
OK, this has been a strange post. I better go before things get weirder.
Oh, wait. They just got weirder…
