I think I would be safe to say that we all know at least one person like this. Hell, chances are to some of you, that person might even be me. Fortunately it’s hard to find fairy wings in my size. Not that there’s anything wrong with wearing fairy wings. In fact, some people make a good career out of it.
So, something has just been brought to my attention. Something incredible and Earth-shattering. Something even more amazing than the impending season premiere of Heroes.
Did you know that in certain eastern parts of this Country of ours, there exists something called “The McLobster?” It’s a lobster sandwich from McDonalds, and it’s only available certain times a year on the East Coast. Mind-boggling. I can’t say I would entirely trust a seafood sandwich like that from McDonalds, but I’ll be damned if I don’t want to try one.
And before you ask, yes, I am the type of guy that would plan, execute, and love a road trip based solely on a sandwich.
Switching gears, this morning I was forced from my bed at an ungodly hour because they were fixing the gas line in our apartment building and there would be no hot water after 8am. They were nice enough to give me some warning, so I wasn’t too mad about it, but I still had some time to kill before I had to go to work.
The point of all this? I am pleased to announce that the first wave of No Reason #0 pre-orders have been packaged and shipped! So for those of you in the US, UK, and Canada (so yeah, all of you) your books are on the way and will be there as soon as the postal system allows.
Also, a big piece that was missing from my life has finally been filled as the NFL returns this weekend! The Good Guys are stacking up against the Kansas City Chiefs at 1pm Sunday, so if you call and I don’t answer, that’s why.
Or I don’t like you. We’ll see how the day goes.

I just sort of realized that the title of this, while I’m sure most people will get as sort of a continuation of dear ‘Whispers’ speech pattern, I don’t think that many people would know that I’m referencing an actual ‘artwork’.
Admittedly, the actual name of the series I’m referencing is a little diffeerent. I, on venture to the Art Gallery of Ontario a few years ago came across a series of minimalist drawings by David Rabinowich from a series called “Construction of Vision Order.”
They were awful. Each of the ’series’ consisted of a small circle or two, with a line or two, on an otherwise untouched page. That, and ‘Pillar of Fire’ (currently owned by the National Gallery in Ottawa) are clear indicators to me that most Fine Artists are either brilliant con-men or the whole ‘field’ is full of retards.
