If you have ever tooled around on a dating site’s profile listings, then you know what we say here is true. Isn’t it funny how everyone out there is “laid-back, looking to laugh, and not into head games.” Personally, head games are some of my favourite games, but I supposed that’s neither here nor there. All in all though it kind of asserts the “I want to be individual like everyone else I know” mentality.
I suppose before I get into the obligatory shilling of wares section of this post, I should admit something. I too have done the internet dating thing. Nothing except for a few cups of coffee ever really came of it, but I tried it, and actually made a few close friends through it. Having said that, I don’t think there is anything wrong with it. There is still a bit of a stigma attached to meeting someone online I guess, but in the end is it really that different than meeting in a bar? For me, the internet is the new Pub, my friends. Good luck to those of you who saddle up to the online-bar to try your hand.
All right, on to the shilling! If you haven’t pre-ordered No Reason #0 yet, I would do so soon. The print run is going to be very limited, so if you want to guarantee a copy, pre-ordering is the way to go. We have set aside group to make sure that we have enough for Fan Expo, but outside of that you’ll want to make sure you can get a copy of this soon-to-be Collector’s Item. I mean, we’re even giving you the shipping for free. Free! And it’s not like we have people to handle this stuff by the way. Every book will be lovingly bagged, boarded, and shipped by yours truly and my strange-smelling cohort. So that means we will be working for you, for free. Haven’t you always wanted to put us to work? Trust me, the exercise will do us good.
So there we go, shill over. For today any way. But with that declared, I want to mention that Fan Expo is just a couple weeks away, and if you want to get in on it early, the details can be found at the Fan Expo Website. The Fonz is going to be there, what more can you ask? Also, our new friends the Suicide Girls will have a setup at the joint, so you don’t want to miss that.
OK, time to split. Gossip Girl is coming on, and we all know what a 15 year old girl I am.
