Wow, it feels like it’s been years since we last spoke, but in reality, just a few short days. There is so much stuff to do to get a book ready for print, I don’t know how people do it every day. Well, I suppose it’s a bit easier when you aren’t trying to balance a full time job with it, but but still: mad respect for my publishing brethren.
The sick part is I’m not even doing that much. My faithful cohort has most of the heavy lifting on his plate, and is diligently making it all happen. So diligently in fact, I haven’t seen the dude in about 4 days, which is hard to do considering we share an apartment. I assume he’s all right, but who knows what trouble (or toasting) he get’s up to when I’m not around.
He’s going to be mad at me too, because I have one more thing to add to his plate: I have recently confirmed our ability to take pre-orders for No Reason #0, so once all the coding is set and ready to go he’ll work it into the page, and we’re off to the races!! To reward his efforts, you should buy a book. That might stop his crying.
Speaking of Jamie, in his post below, he mentioned our time at the Paradise Toronto ComiCON a couple weekends ago, and it reminded me that I promised to post come pics. You’ve seen the few that I took if you are a member of our Facebook Group, but the lovely and talented Danielle Corsetto took some great shots, and I thought I’d show them to you. Being visually gifted, her pics are way better than mine, so enjoy, and remember, Fan Expo is coming up soon, and you can be a part of our convention fun, so do it up!!
All right, if I could self-plug for a minute, I just received some great news! I will (hopefully) be interviewed tomorrow night by national news network CTV Newsnet about the San Diego Comic Con and Comic trends in general! I’m extremely excited as you can imagine, and I will be sure to let you guys know where and when you can see it! OK, gotta go and do some research so I sound like I know what I’m talking about!
