Hey, you know what’s hard? Putting together a book. Not only is Jamie working to all hours of the morning (unless cleaners kick him out of his office) but there are a ton of little things to consider that, well, we hadn’t considered. The good news is that Teh Intranetz Iz Brokun is still in the works, and barring a bout of major misfortune, should still be ready to officially released at Fan Expo at the end of August.
What’s even better news, is that I promise very soon, on this here website, pre-order details will go up, and you will be able to guarantee yourself a copy of this extremely collectible Tome of The Ages. It’s going to be a limited run, and as always, we are attention whores, so the signing of said books is always an option, should you require it. Not only that, but hopefully once we get it all set and ready to go, you will also be able to purchase our snazzy t-shirts, prints, and any other thing that we can think of to peddle to you. If it makes more work for Jamie in the process, bonus.
So, I recently read a really interesting book. “Save Me From Myself” is the autobiography of former Korn guitarist Brian “Head” Welch. He goes through a lot of crap, including a major addiction to meth, and an intense spiritual awakening as he get’s his life together post-Korn. It was an interesting read, but beyond that it got me pulling out the old Korn records and giving them a spin for the first time in a long time. Man, they were a great band. I’m not really into most of the stuff they did post-”Issues” save for a couple of tracks here and there, but they were a big part of the soundtrack to my early adulthood. Does that even happen to you? If so, what stuff have you rediscovered lately?
Other than that, not a whole lot is going on around No Reason HQ. We are both pretty boring people these days, with our noses buried in our respective screens. True, there are breaks here and there for American Gladiators and So You Think You Can Dance, but for the most part: boring.
But, boring with a purpose, which makes it a little less boring. I think. I don’t know if I’m making sense any more. Only one thing left to do…
