I am honestly scared to go back to the grocery store. Any grocery store. It would be different if it was the same store over, and over again. But no, these incidents are at different stores. Maybe it’s the harsh lighting of the Bakery section, or the preservatives used on the “fresh” produce that drives the cashiers mad. All I know is that I have developed a deep-seeded fear of the grocery store now. I can see it costing me greatly later in life, but for now I’ll just have to deal. Perhaps there is some kind of government program that I can sign up with that will provide me armed escort into the stores themselves, or perhaps through the checkout counter for me. If there isn’t, there should be.

Hey! Guess what this weekend is? Yep, that’s right it’s the 2008 Toronto Comicon! And guess who’s gonna be there? Yep, that’s right, us! Well, a whole bunch of other people are going to be there, but we’re the most important ones. Really. Any way, here are the where’s and when’s:

It’s right near the subway, so it’s easy to get to. If you are a comic book fan, this show is for you. Unlike the equally excellent Fan Expo (which we will also be attending) the Toronto Comicon focuses solely on comic books and sequential art, and it promises to be a couple of days of great fun and geekery!

Also, I’ve just seen some artwork that has me very, very excited about an announcement that we’ll be making at the Con. This is big folks. Like, Eiffel Tower Going Berserk Big (for you Umbrella Academy fans). Stay tuned, trust me.

In other news, it’s freaking hot in here. Remember, body odor ruins lives. Or so says a “Doctor” on TV.
