I swear to God, the kid is a comedic genius, the mark of which of course, is not knowing that he’s a comedic genius. Just based on every conversation I’ve ever had with him, I would wager a guess that this will not be the last “Dizzle Vs” strip.
OK, on to other things. It was brought up in a comment recently that our store is missing. Well, I can confirm that this is true. It’s still operational, but we are thinking of taking a different approach to our merchandise, one that will give us more control over the final product. What we would like to do is set up a pre-order system where we would give you guys a few weeks to pre-order things, and then use that money to print up whatever t-shirt, mug, or book (did I say Book? must been getting sloppy in my old age) we can come up with. It would mean that we could ensure the highest quality product and a direct shipping system. We would be sending things literally from our hands to yours.
So let me ask you, does this seem like a good idea? Would this be a better way for you, as the consumer, to get at the No Reason Merch you so desperately covet? Let us know in comments or the forums. We’re all about feed back, and look to you guys to tell us if our hare-brained schemes make any sense. Also, if you have any ideas for No Reason gear that you would like to see, hit us up. We are always looking to steal, uh, I mean, include new ideas.
In other news, if you are a member of our facebook group, you will have seen the few pics I took at this year’s Toronto ComicCON. If you aren’t a member of the group, what’s your deal? Seriously? Any way, the Con was a blast, we went with our good friend and unofficial big brother Lar, and a great time was had. There were some amazing deals at the show, and it got me really jazzed for this year’s convention season. We are going to be topping last year’s outings, so stay tuned for the details. Announcements are forthcoming, but looking at my calendar, I see at least three major appearances this summer. I’m giddy with delight… and arrowroot cookies.
On a personal note, I went to Ikea last night. I don’t know why, but I was all overcome with an urge to build things. So, $175.00 later I left with enough projects to fill my week. You see, Jamie is dog sitting this week, so it’s just me prattling around No Reason HQ. For those of you concerned about that idea, fear not! My newly purchased Billy Bookcase will keep me occupied and out of trouble.
Now, where did I leave that power drill…
