Do you how long he searched for the perfect sound for plungers walking across the ceiling? I mean, significant time and research went into this. Short of strapping some on and trying it out, I can say without a doubt, that “FWOP” is a perfect literary representation of the sound that one would make walking across the ceiling with plungers. Once again, we have contributed to society in a manner I never dreamed possible.
So how’s it going? No, wait don’t answer that… here. Slide on over to our forums and answer this and many other questions! I’ve never been one to post in forums and communities before, but now that I can be a “key master” in one (whatever that means) I’m excited about it. That’s right, all it takes is a little title, and I’m there. Even better would be a title belt, but that might be asking a bit much at this stage of the game.
By the way, don’t think we forgot about our Name That Ulcer Contest. It, much like said Ulcer, is still very much alive and kicking. Since we had an unplanned absence, it would only be fair to extend the contest until Tuesday, so be sure to get your ideas in. Post them here, in the forums, on facebook, or shoot me an e-mail. The winner gets their very own “Carfighter” print, which is an extremely limited edition, signed and numbered by us here at NR HQ. It was a big hit at Fan Expo last year, and we only have the one left, so be sure to get in on this one!
Speaking of Fan Expo, I can tell you that we will be making a triumphant return to the event this summer. It was a blast last year, and we can’t wait to get back at it with all new merch and hopefully a couple of other surprises (details to follow). Convention season is a favourite of mine, and we will be making a couple of other appearances this year, so stay tuned for the details!
In other convention news, anyone in the GTA looking to hit up the Toronto ComicCON (Fan Appreciation) show this weekend? If you are, might I suggest doing so around 12pm on Saturday? If you do, you might see some dudes in No Reason gear there. We will be there, Crashin’ The Con as (un)Official Guests. We may even declare ourselves (un)Official Grand Pubahs of ComicCON. One thing is for certain, we’ll be there getting our Watchtower on, and scoping the scene for any current No Reason Fans, and bringing a few new ones into the fold!!
