Aaaaaaaaaaand we’re back!
Isn’t technology fun? Once Jamie gets home, he will be able to undo whatever I did (my theory is that my sheer awesomeness collapsed the internet) and you’ll be able to view Dizzle’s masterpiece. Until then though, it’s business as usual, and as you can see we’re back!
It’s snowed a lot this year, much more that I can remember in previous years. I can only assume this is because we are moving soon. Speaking of which, the packing continues, and I am loathing every second of it. It’s 2008 for Pete’s sake! Shouldn’t science have invented me some cool stuff like jetpacks, and hover bikes, and most importantly a teleportation device that would make my moving much easier. But I digress.
So the snow has been plentiful in the city, but more so up in the North Country where my parents live. I spent the holidays with them (sleeping in a closet so big it’s actually a bedroom) and there was about 2 feet of snow all around us. It made for a really nice Christmas (somehow I managed to accumulate $120 in coffee shop gift certificates. Can you say WIRED!?!). In fact, it was pretty much perfect until I spun out on the way home and ended up straddling a snowbank in a ditch for 45 minutes. Fortunately, there was minimal damage to the car (I missed a street sign by about 3 inches, so all I did was crack a wheel cover on the ice) and so it was more irritating than anything. But such is life. It’s strange how rational your mind can be in those situations. The whole time I was sliding out of control and spinning around, the only thought in my mind was “Well… this is annoying.” Then WHUMPF!!! “yes… very annoying…”
Any way, I hope that you all have been enjoying the holiday editions of The Watchtower. We did some different stuff, and it was a blast, so hopefully that comes through. The Jan 2nd Episode features 2 very special guests, and I hope you all are able to check it out!!
Until then, as we cruise towards 2008, I hope you all have a terrific and safe New Years. My plans allegedly involve Hawaiian Shirts, so stay tuned. I’m sure there’s a story in there somewhere…
Tappity Tap Tap Tapping,
-MM
