I swear to God this season is killing me. In some cases, for the benefit of my health and the safety of others, I really think there ought to be a law. But this is the power that women have, that simple, intangible alluring quality that can literally tear a man’s eyes from their current position. It gets worse when there are multiple girls involved. I’ve seen men go crosseyed. And you know what ladies? You all have this power. It’s very rare that a man looks at woman and doesn’t find something he likes. So quit flaunting it!! Just kidding of course, but please keep in mind that it is hard for us dudes to admire your beauty without looking like skeezy jerkwads. Now a great number of us are, in fact, skeezy jerkwads, but for the sake of my own sanity please ask in order to clarify before hurling rocks or insults my way. I’m not a jerk, I just play one in a comic strip.
In other news, we sent a very important piece of mail off this week. It contained a cheque that could lead to things that will change the face of No Reason Comics forever. I know what you are thinking, and yes we did just do that. But this time, it has less to do with our actual faces. Once we have some more of the details ironed out, All will be revealed. Until then though, stay with us because it’s going to be mind-blowingly awesome.
Some new photos were released this week from the set of the sequel to Batman Beings, titled The Dark Knight. I gotta say, even though they have made the Batsuit look more like a suit of armor, I’m still digging it. The batcycle looks a little weird, but it could be cool. The great thing about Batman Begins, and most of the design work within was that everything had a very practical application and function. The batcyle may be a bit of a departure from that line of thinking, but in the end it might work. They are being pretty tight-lipped about the actually story, but the teaser image I saw of Heath Ledger as The Joker was by far one of the coolest (and scariest) things I’ve ever seen, so I am pretty excited to see how it all comes together.
All right my friends (and close acquaintances, and family I see at Christmas, and strangers I tell the website about on the subway) it is the weekend, and I am about to put a me-shaped hole in the door. Have fun, and wear the sunscreen!
