Sometimes, it’s not what she says, but the accent she says it in. I think that the most obvious example of this would be Penelope Cruz. Normally, I wouldn’t really find her all that attractive, but then she starts talking and BAM! I’m a drooling fool (y’know, more so than usual) and I don’t even know if its because I actually like that accent, or if it’s because I’m imagining her saying things in my head. Either way, we need to send out generous Thank You’s to Sofia Guay for lowering her self enough to help us out with the translations. Without her, we’d have had to do it in Klingon, and it wouldn’t have been as funny. Just weird.

So hey, The Ducks won the Stanley Cup! Good for them, I say. I know there was a lot of talk about Ottawa being “Canada’s Team” but y’know, it’s the NHL not the IIHF, so I think that we can leave patriotism at the door for this one. The Ducks actually had more Canadians on their team any way. They are also the first West Coast team to win the Cup, and I think it is great for hockey in general. They had something like 35 straight sell-outs at The Honda Center, so I think to say that they don’t get hockey in Anaheim is a bit of a stretch. This is not to say that I wouldn’t like to see more Canadian teams in the NHL, but in this case we had a great final with all kinds of villainous and heroic moments, and I am happy to see The Ducks carved on Lord Stanley’s Mug. Oh, and the whole “but they’re owned by Disney, and based on a movie, blah, blah, blah” argument doesn’t hold any water. They dropped the “Mighty” when Disney sold the team, and since then have done nothing but build a solid, hard-hitting, entertaining hockey club, so it might be time to let all that go.

I hope you have all been to the store and checked out the cool gear you can pick up for yourself or loved ones. Father’s Day is fast approaching, and I can think of nothing better to give Dear Ol’ Dad than a No Reason T-Shirt. Or perhaps you would like to celebrate all your father has done for you by declaring “Steve Rogers Is Not Dead.” Either way, the choices and options are limitless, and as always if there is something you would like to see made available, then please let us know. We are here to do your bidding… in a capitalist kind of way. Remember: We aim to please, your aim will help. No, wait… that was on a sign above a toilet I read once. Never mind.

All right, it’s the weekend and we all want to get out of here. Be sure and enjoy yourself, I have two going-aways, a welcome home, and a new TV to pick up. Oh yes, you heard right: New TV. Details to follow…

Stealing the brown M&M’s,
