So… There it is.

Strip #1 of many. It’s been surprisingly invigorating getting this thing off the ground, and I am happily looking forward to the days, weeks, and years to come.

Recently, we attended the Fan Expo here in Toronto, which is basically the coming together of every kind of Geek in Geekdom under one, sweaty roof. We met Ryan and Lar from Blind Ferret Entertainment, who offered us one piece of advice: Don’t do it for the money. Which is good, because there isn’t any. But they are right, and I feel confident in stating that No Reason will always be about being funny and entertaining. Yes, I would one day like to be doing this full-time and not have to have one of those, what do you call them, oh yeah, jobs, but for now (and hopefully forever) its all about the opportunity to be creative with one of my oldest friends and favourite people.

Now that’s not to say that either one of us might not meet an Asian artist who causes a rift between us so deep we can never repair it, causing us to split up well before our time and form a series of other projects that are OK, but don’t live up to the magic of the original.

But it will accomplish this: I will master the art of the run-on sentence.

Count on it.

I hope you are OK,

M. o’M.

P.S. To the guy at the Expo who cut the line to meet Morena Baccarin…
There is a special level of Hell reserved for you…
